I'm Ebisa. I build things that run in production.
I'm a full-stack engineer with 5 years building scalable backends, AI platforms, and automation pipelines for teams across four continents. My core stack is Python, FastAPI, Django, Next.js, and TypeScript, and I've delivered more than twenty production systems through Upwork and direct engagements.
The work ranges widely. A cross-exchange arbitrage terminal aggregating 400+ prediction markets in real time. A land-buying platform I built solo from empty repo to production. A JSON validator on PyPI that benchmarks 116× faster than the library it replaces. What they share is a bias toward shipping something people actually use.
I studied Computer Science at Addis Ababa University and I'm pursuing an MSc in Information Technology at the University of the People. Outside client work: distributed systems papers, whatever's shipping in AI, and side projects to stay sharp.
How I work.
- Ship the thing that matters
- Every engagement is an engineering problem first: work out what actually needs to exist, cut the rest, keep the feedback loop tight.
- Boring where it counts
- Novelty belongs in the product, not the infrastructure. Predictable data models and typed contracts beat clever abstractions.
- Own it end to end
- Comfortable driving a project solo from empty repo to production, or plugging into an existing team and its conventions on day one.
- Measure, then optimise
- Latency budgets, benchmarks, and traces before rewrites. The 40% API improvement came from profiling, not guessing.

- Built Sundial Lands end to end: Next.js frontend, Node.js and FastAPI services, and the parcel evaluation pipeline
